Breast cancer still affects thousands of women and although life expectancy has reached 87% after the 5th year of diagnosis, research still has a long way to go. This is why we proposed Mercedes a partnership with AIRC, The Italian Association for Cancer Research.
From 25th to 30th of October, with the Campaign #LaRicercaFaStrada (literally “Research leads the way”), €1 was donated to AIRC for each kilometer traveled during the test-drives. We brought the initiative on TV with a commercial and published our content online and on social networks, collecting countless subscriptions on our ad-hoc landing page. The pink road has brought everyone together and contributed to scientific progress and supported women and their success stories.

The event
From 25th to 30th of October people from all over Italy joined the initiative by participating in test-drives and donating 1€ for each kilometer travelled. For the occasion we provided each Mercedes-Benz dealer with pink merchandise and POS equipment (flags, stickers, totems, etc.)
